Finding Books and Videos

Finding books & videos in the DCL collection:

Search the Library catalog to find books, videos, e-books and online journals that are in the library collection. You can request materials to be delivered to any DC campus, add yourself to the waitlist if an item is checked out, and renew items online.

Use Simple Search to search by Author (last name first), Title phrase, Keyword (finds any word you enter) , or Keyword Boolean (use AND OR and NOT to do complexsearches).

Use Builder Search to join up to three different kinds of searches, or to search by publisher, subject words, series, etc.

Click on Check your Record to see what you have borrowed, renew items, see if your requests are ready to be picked up, and see if you owe any library fines.

NetLibrary
DCL has thousands of e-books available online. Set up a free account at NetLibrary and check out books to read online, search, make notes in, and many other features.

Beyond DCL:

The Following resources let you find materials that may not be owned by the Diné College Libraries. We may be able to request these materials for you via Inter-Library Loan.

World Cat - Searches the collections of several thousand libraries world wide.

Books in Print - Search for books that are in print, out of print, or forthcoming.
